We'd love for you to ...

attend our weekly classes every Sunday morning from 9:30am - 10:30am,
participate in the Joy2Gather worship service from 11am to Noon in the Fellowship Hall,
hang out with us every Sunday evening from 6-8 in The Shed, and
join us on our weekend retreats and service-based adventures!

Fair Haven offers a fun, contemporary home for Christian youths to explore their faith and apply Christ's word to the everyday challenges of life.

Children's Ministry

Sunday School
Sunday mornings from 9:30 -10:30

Fair Haven believes that young children need to learn about God, Jesus and the parables he taught. We offer classes that engage children to enhance the learning process. These classes feature arts, crafts, and the truths of the Christian faith, lovingly conveyed by idea and example.

Older children attend classes as part of the Youth Program.

While the kids are in Sunday School…
Join the Friends Class in the Fellowship Hall. Here parents of young children and others study the Bible and how it relates to today's events.

The 11:00 servicse have a children's sermon early in the service followed by supervised play to give the children time to become friends.

Fair Haven offers a contemporary service called joy2gather on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship hall.

The nursery is staffed by loving individuals and is always available for very young children.

Joy2Gather is a weekly contemporary Praise and Worship service. The laid back atmosphere of this service helps to provide a feeling of refuge, or safe haven, from the stress and confusion of everyday life. The goal of Joy2Gather is to simply offer an opportunity for fellow believers to rejoice together, to be reminded that it is fun and exciting to worship the living and loving God.

While a strong emphasis is placed on the musical aspect of Joy2Gather, it provides only one aspect of the service as a whole. Each week the congregation is invited to delve deeper into the Word to further discover the heart of the creator who is without a doubt the ultimate artist, the painter of the heavens, the composer of time, and the poet of all creation.

Joy2Gather is at 11:00 a.m. every Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us for a casual yet in depth journey in search of the heart of God.

Music at Fair Haven United Methodist Church

We have a very active music program here at Fair Haven. Music is such a wonderful way to praise God while uplifting your own spirit!

Fair Haven has opportunities for singers of all ages to participate and lift their voices to God.

Read about our Choir and Bells programs. Practice and performance times vary.

We also have an active contemporary music program that plays at our 11.00 service. Join us for the joy2gather service this Sunday!

Worship Services

Every Sunday we offer the following worship services:

11:00 am Joy2gather is a contemporary service that offers music, praise, and worship. Service location is church sanctuary

9:30 a.m. Sunday School/Bible Study. A class for every age and stage of life.

11:00 a.m. Children and adults are invited to this traditional service. This service offers a children's sermon. After the children's sermon, the younger children are invited for Bible study, snacks and supervised play for the remainder of the service. This service of worship is also located in the church sanctuary.

At 11:00 a.m., we invite those who prefer to worship in Spanish to our Christian Life Center for a service in the United Methodist Tradition under the leadership of Jairo Ortiz.

A nursery is available for children under three years of age during all of the services.

Coffee is available in Fellowship Hall after each service.

This family friendly environment provides you with a means to make friends, learn the scriptures, and praise God.

Great, inspirational music ministry. Something special at every worship service. Including:

- Adult Choir

- Various Children's Choirs

- Handbell Choir

- Praise Band at joy2gather Contemporary service at 9:00 a.m.

Youth Sunday School

Join us for Youth Bible study for 7th - 12th Graders every Sunday morning at 10:00. We meet in the Christian Life Center (CLC) "Shed", our name for the youth activities center, at Fair Haven United Methodist Church. Access to "The Shed" is from the South side of the ground floor Gym.

The class, taught by Jan Bradley and Patrick Chappell, is an exciting and engaging look at how teens can live authentic Christian lives at school, at home, and with their friends.

Boy Scout Troop 631

We meet in the Scout hut each Monday, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Boys who have completed the fifth grade, or are 11 years old, or have earned the Arrow of Light Award in Cub Scouts, but are younger than 18 years of age, are encouraged to join. In addition to working on their advancement in Scouting and planning future camping activities, the troop has a yearly holiday greenery sale to help underwrite the financial needs of the troop and expenses for camping equipment and Scout camp participation.

Nothing but Nets
It is our privilege at Fair Haven to be part of the Nothing but Nets effort of the United Nations Foundation and of the United Methodist Church. Most recently our Vacation Bible School students and friends donated funds in order to purchase 100 nets to help fight Malaria in Africa.
What a great accomplishment for these children, their teachers and families. Thanks also to our church family who volunteered to match donations received at Bible School.

Cub Scout Pack 1631

Cub Scout Pack 1631 is a large and active pack which has fun involving boys in such activities as campouts, fun games, pine wood derby races, a Blue and Gold Banquet, fund raisers like selling microwave popcorn, exciting trips, and advancing through the projects in the Cub Scout Manual.

Cub Scout Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Christian Life Center.

Pack membership is open to the following boys:
Tiger Cubs - first grade (or age 7)
Cub Scouts - second or third grade (or ages 8 or 9)
Webelos Scouts - fourth or fifth grade (or age 10).

We welcome new boys at any time. Something of the purpose of scouting may be discovered in these promises:
