On Monday, March 16th several members and friends of Fair Haven joined many others from the Spring Branch community to participate in the dedication exercises for the rejuvinated and updated fire station which serves the area. Various officials from the fire department and from the City of Houston were in attendance.
Our own Lisa Johnson, a creative writer, contributed a poem in honor of the occasion. In honor of the good work of the of the firefighters, parametics, and all who serve the community through Fire Station Number 49 this work is lovingly created and dedicated:
